Terms of Service

Your account

• You must be at least 16 to use Ceresis Core.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• One person per account. Tell us at support@ceresiscore.com if you think someone else has accessed yours.

Plans and billing

• Free has no charge and no time limit.
• Pro costs $19.99 a month or $149.99 a year, billed in advance. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the reseller and handles tax.
• Pro renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time; you keep Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then move to Free with all your data intact.
• If we change Pro’s price, we’ll tell you at least 30 days before it applies to your next renewal.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy: your first payment in full within 14 days, and yearly renewals within 14 days.

AI features and allowances

• Pro’s AI features come with monthly allowances, shown in Settings, and an overall monthly AI budget per account (currently $4.50 of processing). Allowances reset on the 1st of each month.
• Past an allowance, logging keeps working — entries are filed without AI until the reset.
• AI output can be wrong. Calorie and macro figures, sleep and study totals, answers and briefs are estimates generated from what you logged. They are not medical, nutritional, fitness, or financial advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making health decisions.

Your content

• What you log is yours. You can export it or delete it at any time from Settings.
• You give us permission to store, process and display your content only as needed to run Ceresis Core for you — including sending it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy.
• We don’t sell your content or use it to train AI models.

Acceptable use

Don’t:

• break the law, or use Ceresis Core to harm or harass anyone;
• try to access other accounts or data, or probe, scan or disrupt the service;
• automate requests to get around plan limits, or resell access;
• upload malware or content you don’t have the right to use.

We may suspend accounts that do, and will tell you why unless the law or safety prevents it.

The service

• Ceresis Core is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
• There is no uptime commitment or service-level agreement. The service may be slow, interrupted or unavailable, including for maintenance.
• We don’t guarantee that data can be recovered if it is lost, corrupted or deleted — by you, by a fault, or by one of our providers. Export regularly from Settings → Your data if you rely on a copy.
• We may limit how often the service can be called (for example, per minute from one network) to protect it from abuse. Normal use stays well under those limits.
• We may change or remove features. If a change removes something you pay for, we’ll give notice.
• You can close your account at any time. If we ever shut Ceresis Core down, we’ll give at least 30 days’ notice so you can export your data.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or goodwill, however caused. Our total liability for any claim relating to Ceresis Core is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it (which is zero on Free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.

Law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of California, United States. If we change them materially, we’ll tell you at least 30 days in advance; continuing to use Ceresis Core after that means you accept the new terms.
